Check-in begins at 4pm on Thursday, July 10th, 2025
We can request an early check-in on your behalf and depending on number of departures, if there is a room vacant and clean upon your arrival, then the front desk will be able to check you in. If not, you can store your luggage with the resort’s Bell Team until your room is ready.
Transportation to and from the airport is not provided, however, the airport is only about ten minutes from the resort so Uber or Lyft are the recommended modes of transportation.
The resort offers complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. If you opt to use Uber or Lyft, note that Lyft is more prevalent than Uber in the area.
Guests can add nights before and/or after the event dates by contacting the resort directly at 805.968.0100. Please note that you will not get the discounted rates associated with the Ridge room block on the additional nights.
Yes, The Ritz Carlton Barcara offers ADA accessible rooms. If you require an accessible room, please contact us at wine@ridgewine.com or by phone at 408.867.3233 after you’ve booked your getaway package and we’ll request an accessible room on your behalf. You can find more information about the resort’s accessible rooms, common areas, and special services in the Accessibility Information section at the bottom of the resort’s overview page on their website.
Sandpiper Golf Club is located next to the resort and with breathtaking ocean and mountain views from every hole, golfing at Sandpiper is truly a memorable experience. Tee times can be scheduled directly from Sandpiper’s website.
Spa appointments can be booked via The Ritz Carlton’s website.
Your weekend package includes dinner on Thursday and Saturday nights. If you’d like to dine at the one of the resort’s restaurants on Friday evening, you can make make your reservation via The Ritz Carlton website. Restaurant reservations typically open up one year in advance.
If you’d like to venture offsite for dinner on Friday, Santa Barbara’s food scene is quite impressive. Featuring talented chefs and stunning local ingredients, the city boasts excellent options all along the spectrum from holes-in-the-wall to five-star dining. Make a reservation for Angel Oak, the envelope-pushing steakhouse, whose menu of premium meats and seasonal vegetables is complemented by ocean views and a 12,000-bottle wine cellar. You’ll also need to reserve at The Lark, an artisanal foodie haven in a former fish market in the Funk Zone, and Bouchon, a favorite for local wines and exemplary California-style French fare.

If you’ve already notified us of your food allergies, we’ve made note of them and will be informing the culinary team that will be preparing dinner on Thursday and Saturday. If you will be dining at the resort for other meals, please be sure to inform the restaurant staff so that they can accommodate your needs.
The weather in Santa Barbara in July is typically in the mid 70s during the day, with evenings that can dip into the 50s. If you plan on being out and about in the evenings, be sure to bring a warm layer.
Nothing formal is required. You can view the video of our Bodega Bay Getaway or Lake Tahoe Getaway to get an idea of how people dressed for that event. This event is similarly casual in nature.
