1992 Pagani Ranch Zinfandel

In this, our second vintage from the old Pagani vineyard, we again set aside a block planted entirely to zinfandel for the Advance Tasting Program. This 100% varietal wine is an interesting contrast to the main Pagani release, which includes mataro and petite sirah. In Sonoma Valley’s cool climate, the grapes matured slowly and evenly. Intense raspberry fruit and peppery spice give immediate appeal to this very rich, full wine; its chalky tannins provide structure for at least six or seven years of future development.
