Heringer

History

The Heringer family immigrated to America from Holland in the 1860s and established their roots in Clarksburg, where they initially cultivated row crops including alfalfa, corn, sugar beets, and tomatoes. In the 1970s, the family planted their first vineyard, marking the beginning of their viticultural legacy. Today, they practice herbicide-free farming and partner with the Wildlife Care Association of Sacramento to provide habitat for rehabilitated owls across their 500 acres of vineyards.
