Production Overview

This hillside, old-vine carignane has the complexity and structure of a field-blend zinfandel. Harvested from August 29 to September 2, with an average brix of 24.2°, the wine went through fermentation on indigenous yeast before aging for 10 months in 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5-year-old american oak barrels.

Availability

Since 1999, we’ve produced limited amounts of carignane for our ATP members from Buchignani Ranch. This 2017 vintage was part of the spring ATP offerings and is currently available for member purchase.
