A Trio of Great Chardonnay Scores from Wine Spectator

We’re excited to report that Wine Spectator has awarded our chardonnays with three 90+ scores. Our 2013 and 2014 Monte Bello Chardonnays and 2015 Estate Chardonnay received the following scores:

2015 Estate Chardonnay (April 19, 2017 Insider) – 92 Points, “Minerally and intense, with plenty of buttery notes. This well-spiced version pivots around a core of baked apple and pear tart flavors. Fresh and juicy midpalate, featuring a finish loaded with dried fig accents. Drink now through 2022.—K.M.”

2014 Monte Bello Chardonnay (April 12, 2017 Insider) – 94 Points, “Rich and crystalline, featuring concentrated apple, pear and fig flavors, supported by ample acidity. Pure and minerally midpalate, with a powerful finish that offers finely textured smoky and buttery accents. Drink now through 2022.—K.M.”

2013 Monte Bello Chardonnay (April 19, 2017 Insider) – 92 Points, “Well-sculpted and fresh-tasting, with a firm structure to the complex array of pear, fig and tropical fruit flavors. Creamy, with a long, lush finish that offers appealing notes of cumin. Drink now through 2021.—K.M.”
