Share & Pair Sundays with RIDGE

Blog Post

Here at Ridge Vineyards, we’ve long believed that wine doesn’t just pair well with food–wine is food. We take the time to source the best ingredients for our wines and carefully prepare them by using only native yeasts and no commercial enzymes or nutrients.

Our winemaking philosophy relies on the most important tool in the winery being the same as in a kitchen: our palate. We make important winemaking decisions based on taste, not a pre-determined recipe. This approach ensures that each bottle, from each vintage, is unique and created just the way nature intended.

We believe this philosophy is the foundation for exceptional wines and even better opportunities to enjoy them with friends. RIDGE is proud to be joining the Share & Pair Sundays campaign alongside wineries, restaurants, and wine shops nationwide to celebrate the connection that food and wine offer.

What is Share & Pair Sundays About?

Share & Pair Sundays is a 2025 Spring-to-Summer campaign that celebrates the delicious marriage of wine and food. The campaign encourages consumers to get together on Sundays to enjoy wine, food, and friends. Share & Pair Sundays will be celebrated from March 23 (the first Sunday of Spring) through May 25. Ten Sundays in all.

We plan to use this time to explore the wonderful diversity of food and wine. From Paso Robles to the northern reaches of Alexander Valley, RIDGE produces unique single-vineyard wines that display a sense of place. When paired with the right ingredients, these wines are the perfect vehicle for making memories.

The Community of Food and Wine

In this three-episode video series, longtime winemaker Paul Draper explores the importance of community in the world of food and wine. Paul Draper talks about the remarkable connections that food and wine create with Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein, Chef David Kinch, Chez Panisse Founder Alice Waters, and Restauranteur Thomas Keller.

“When we talk about food and wine, we are really talking about sharing. Sharing who we are, what we are, and what we have with others.” –Thomas Keller
