Four RIDGE Wines Shortlisted for Insiders

Wine Spectator

March 2026

Wine Spectator’s Insider Weekly is an opportunity for editors to highlight new and exciting wines. We are thrilled to see four of our wines in the March 25th issue, all from the 2024 vintage. These wines feature varying percentages of zinfandel—from 71% to 100%—and would be a great smattering of wines to taste side-by-side. Read editor Tim Fish’s impressions of these RIDGE Zinfandels below.

2024 Geyserville Vineyard – 94 Points

“Densely structured yet retains a sense of style and finesse, with deep flavors of black cherry and raspberry accented by dark chocolate, orange peel and dark Asian spices. Finishes with big but refined tannins. Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouschet. Drink now through 2038.”—T.F.

2024 Paso Robles Zinfandel – 94 Points

“A spirited red, sleek and elegantly layered, with expressive flavors of raspberry and strawberry laced with rose petal, briar and savory spices. Drink now through 2035.”—T.F.

2024 East Bench Zinfandel – 93 Points

“Expressive and zesty, with lively flavors of raspberry and plum laced with briar patch, savory anise and white pepper notes that build richness and tension on the finish. Drink now through 2035.”—T.F.

2024 Lytton Springs – 93 Points

“Deep and brambly, with robust flavors of wild berries accented by licorice, fruitcake spices and pepper as this builds tension toward full-bodied tannins. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane, Alicante Bouschet and Grenache. Best from 2027 through 2037.”—T.F.

*The 2024 Lytton Springs will be released in the fall.
