DecanterChina.com named the 2014 Estate Chardonnay as one of 8 California chardonnays coming from a classic region:
“Reticent apricot nose, with considerable purity of fruit….vibrant apricot and citrus fruit, taut and intense. A wine with pungency and structure, and an almost Burgundian persistence of flavour…”
Also in Decanter, Ridge Vineyards was named as a regional “winery to know” for producers of California chardonnay that will appeal Burgundy lovers. Here is that excerpt from the article:
