A half century of Ridge Monte Bello

On 11 November 2015, Jancis Robinson published an article about our 50th Anniversary event that took place in New York right before the Wine Experience show. Here’s a brief excerpt:

“One of the reasons we spent so long at the fair that is New York is so that I could stay long enough to celebrate the release of the 2012 vintage, representing the 50th anniversary, of the American wine I admire most of all, Ridge Vineyards’ top bottling Monte Bello. The handsome leaflet produced to celebrate this half century included my favourite photograph to be found blown up on the bare wooden walls of the Ridge winery, the one shown here of Paul and Maureen Draper celebrating their marriage in what was another era of California history.”
