Tom Lee of Zinfandel Chronicles recently released a review of our 2017 Ponzo Zinfandel, naming it as the publication’s “Zinfandel of the Month.”
“Savory nose of brambly black fruits, plums and pepper. Medium to full bodied with tremendous acidity. Crisp, jammy and well balanced. Blackberry, black raspberry, anise and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Glorious Zinfandel from a vineyard that sometimes gets overlooked in the Ridge portfolio.” – 92 points
Tom has been reviewing wines since the 90’s and when he first became interested in zinfandel,
