Michael Torino - President

Joined Ridge in 2008

Michael Torino is President of Ridge Vineyards. Prior to becoming President, Michael served as SVP of Global Sales overseeing the company’s domestic and international distributor network and team of Regional Sales Managers. Michael joined Ridge Vineyards in 2008 as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager and added Export Sales Director, Eastern Canada & The Caribbean as well as National On-Premise Account Manager to his responsibilities during his time in the Eastern Regional role.

As an industry veteran with over 20 years’ experience, Michael has enjoyed a highly successful career beginning in the restaurant business at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. From there, he moved into the distribution side of the wine business working as a Sales Manager for TransAtlantic Wine & Spirits, a division of Southern Wine & Spirits. Michael then progressed into the supplier end of the wine business managing the North East for Bonny Doon Vineyard and launching the Pacific Rim Winemakers brand in the Eastern half of the US.

With a strong passion for wine and an extensive travel itinerary, Michael enjoys every minute of his job and sharing his fondness for Ridge with our wholesale, restaurant and retail partners. Originally from New York, Michael currently resides in South Florida with his wife Lisa and their son Leonardo.
