Dan joined the Ridge team as the Assistant Manager of Retail Operations at Monte Bello in January of 2020 but is a wine industry veteran, having worked for Testarossa winery in the Bay Area as well as various Dry Creek Valley wineries prior to coming to Ridge. Among his favorite wines are the Rousten Cabernet Franc, Klein Cab, Geyserville, and Lytton Springs and he has a mean recipe for slow-smoked St. Louis Ribs that he loves to pair with Lytton Estate Petite Sirah.
Eliot was born and raised in Iowa and came to California right after high school and has been here ever since. He has worked in the wine industry for the last twenty years: six years for Kendall Jackson, a few local pinot noir producers afterwards, and the last twelve wonderful years here at Ridge. He’s a home winemaker and has been the recipient of invaluable tips and great assistance in that endeavor from our always-helpful winemaking team at Lytton Springs.
