August First Friday at Monte Bello Cancelled Due to Road Construction
Heavy rains this past winter washed out a section of Montebello Road, which is the only public route to access our winery. Santa Clara County has announced the work to fix this section of the road will occur throughout August. Beginning the week of August 1st, the road will be closed entirely from 8:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday work to be determined. As a result Monte Bello will be completely closed to visitation, Monday through Friday, during this time, and we unfortunately need to cancel our August First Friday event as well. We will announce the plans for our September First Friday event as we gain further clarification as to the scope of the project and its firm timeline. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
