Tasting wine at Monte Bello:
Each weekend we traditionally offer two unique tasting flights, our "Guest & Member Tasting," and our "Monte Bello Tasting." The Guest & Member Tasting is usually comprised of two "Guest" offerings poured complimentary, and 4 "Member" wines; this flight is available for $5/person. Our Monte Bello Tasting features the four Member offerings, bookended by our limited-production estate chardonnay, and our flagship Monte Bello; this flight is available for $20/person. Our picnic area is available for use by customers during weekend hours on a first-come/first-served basis (Unless prior arrangements have been made. Please see "Advance Reservations" below). We do not allow smoking, pets, or "outside alcohol" on-site, though we are happy to open a bottle of Ridge wine to accompany your picnic. (Please click here for complete Picnic Area policies). Groups of 8 or more visiting on the weekends must make an Advance Reservation (see below).

In addition, if you plan to visit our tasting room on a weekend, and you are traveling with a group of 8 or more, we require that you make an Advance Reservation. This is to ensure that we have the appropriate space and staff to properly host your group.
To make an Advance Reservation request, please e-mail reservations@ridgewine.com and please be aware that an Advance Reservation is not confirmed until you have received e-mail confirmation from a Ridge staff member.

Please note that the Google Map directions (and possibly other GPS-based systems) are incorrect once you get onto Monte Bello Road. Stay on Monte Bello Road and continue up 4.4 miles until you reach 17100 Monte Bello. (Do not turn onto Peacock Court.) Also, there is no direct access to Ridge from Skyline Blvd.
