Multiple recipient orders

To make placing gift orders for multiple recipients easier, we have created a process to ship the same order to many people. The requirement is that all recipients receive the same order.

How to place orders

As with any order, you first collect a shopping cart containing what you'd like to send to your recipients. When you check out, select the multiple recipient link. You will be asked for billing information, recipient information, payment, and submission, just as you are in a single recipient order. You will be able to add more than one recipient in this process.

The differences in this check-out process are:

  • You accumulate a list of recipients instead of just one.

  • You will see the cost of each order, including shipping costs, as you add recipients, as well as the total. If you wish to change what is in your cart, you may make adjustments and come back to adding recipients at any time.

  • You will receive discounts based on your total order. So, if you send 2 bottles to 6 recipients, you will receive a case discount on all your purchases.

  • For the security of our customers, you must use a credit card and may not indicate use of the card you have on file.

Items to watch for:

  • Different sized bottles are shipped in separate containers, which will increase your shipping costs and result in multiple packages. You might not want to do this to keep the package a single item.

  • Unless specified as part of a gift selection by Ridge Vineyards, wine and non-wine items will ship separately.

  • Sometimes we have items in the store that are listed as shipping on a future date. If you include these items in a gift pack, the recipient will receive items that are available now, and then will receive the remainder as they become available. If you prefer that the wine ships together at the later date, please specify in the comments field.
