Ridge Advance Tasting Program
The Advance Tasting Program (ATP) is a logical extension of Ridge's long-standing dedication to single vineyard winemaking. Our interest in individual sites, regardless of size, has led us to produce some wines in quantities ranging from 5 to 55 barrels. Since 1978, these have been made available through the ATP. There are approximately eight to nine shipments annually, and members may elect to receive two, four, six, or twelve bottles per shipment. A typical year might include a syrah, a grenache, an old-vine carignane, and several zinfandel field blends. Members receive priority on obtaining reserve releases, difficult-to-obtain current wines, and more of the small-lot wines. (The Monte Bello estate cabernet is not part of the program, but members of ATP and the Z List are invited to barrel-taste each new vintage, and may purchase it on a "futures" basis.) Wines sent on the Advance Tasting Program are never duplicated on the Z List. Be sure that we can ship to your state, see our FAQs.
